Ok I know this is super _old_ however, I figured since my dA profile only has Mod DB v2 graphics, I better bring it up to speed.

For those unfamiliar with the Mod DB [link] - the aim of the site is to be like deviantART for game modifications. Here is my definition of a mod:

A modification, or "mod," is a variation of an original game that can be freely downloaded over the internet. These variations can be minor: tweaking characters, enhancing weapons, rebuilding levels, or modifying different aspects of gameplay. A modification can also be epic in scope, creating an entirely new product using a core game as a foundation to be built off of.

The original design was created by Shaun aka Stuffie - who based it off earlier logos created by myself. The spanner is meant to represent a "mod making tool".
